Job Description:
Charter Jet Transport, Inc. is seeking a Pilot In Command (PIC) candidate for its BeechJet 400A Nextant aircraft. This position is based in the Charlotte NC area.
Duties & Responsibilities
- As a PIC or SIC, conduct safe, efficient, and reliable flight operations in accordance with company and FAA regulations and requirements
- Perform a variety of mission types, including point to point passenger operations, on-demand medical transportation, and overnight flights in VFR and IFR operations
- Employ comprehensive flight planning processes considering weather, navigational aids, routing, altitudes, alternative routes and destinations, loading and weight distribution, fuel requirements and the filing of IFR flight plans, as necessary
- Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections of aircraft and note all discrepancies in a maintenance log, and maintain all other necessary logs and reports related to their flights
- Continuously analyze aircraft performance and weather conditions in order to determine whether to continue, reroute or cancel flights
- Alternate between the pilot-in-command or co-pilot on assigned flights (all flights require two-person crews)
- When not assigned to a mission, remain on stand-by for missions during scheduled work days.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Prior turbojet PIC experience in the Beechjet 400A or similar aircraft
- Demonstrate experience with 14 CFR part 135 operations and have an in-depth knowledge of FAA part 135, 91, 61 regulations
- Have experience with flight planning, meteorology, aircraft maintenance requirements, air navigation and multi-engine turbojet performance requirements.
- Experience with crew resource management (CRM)
- Minimum of 2500 total flight time
- Minimum 1000 hrs PIC in turbojet aircraft
- Beechjet 400A Type Rating preferred
Additional Expectations
- This position requires being on-call during scheduled work days and able to report to the home base within 1 (one) hour and 15 minutes.

- Airline Transport Pilot License
- First Class Medical
