Avatar Airlines is looking to hire the crème de la crème of the worlds most experienced commercial airline pilots. To be part of this elite group, applicants must possess all the necessary credentials, pass a medical and an extensive interview process. The airline will most likely need 200+ pilots the first year and over 400 pilots during the following three years.
Avatar Airlines pay rate will be for: Captains: $378 per flight hour, X 78 hours average per month. (About $353,814 per year.) F/Os: $257.78 per flight hour, X 78 hours average per month. (About $242,237 per year.)
Job Requirements:
Must have 747-400 Type Rating with a minimum of 10,000 flight hours. This would require a USA FAA issued Airline Transport Pilot certificate, Class I Medical certificate, and legal status to work in the USA (citizen, work visa, etc). Those with similar aircraft experience will likely be considered for copilot positions to begin.
