Reserve for Flight Jobs

Initially, most pilot new hires can expect to be placed on reserve, depending on the needs of individual domiciles. In some cases, time spent on reserve can be substantial for flight jobs. Ready reserves are also used and most likely utilized at domiciles or hubs. Regular reserve policy requires a two-hour call out. Pilots on reserve status must be available for this call out on any day, night, weekends and holidays.
