Astrum Helicopters is currently seeking a qualified pilot for a PIC position in Belize.
This is a full-time position with schedule.
Astrum Helicopters (www.astrumhelicopters.com) is a family-owned business that has operated in Belize since 2005. We have a 145 Repair Station Maintenance Organization as well as an AOC and External Load Air-Work Certificate. We currently operate Bell 206B3 & Bell 407’s. Our work includes charters, tours, helicopter adventures and transfers, lift work, movie and TV production filming, LIDAR and Wildlife survey, Firefighting, Military and Government service flights (SAR; Medivac; Hoist rescue). The diverse flying environment, from triple-canopy jungle to coral reef atolls offshore, offers pilots a great opportunity to excersise a wide range of skills. We are often called upon for offshore shipboard landings and routinely do transfers to outlying island resorts with elevated heliports on docks as well as landings at locations in the mountains and deep jungle LZ’s. The fleet is expanding as business is growing by demand from all sectors.
Job Requirements:
- 2,500 hrs. PIC total time
- 1,000 hrs. turbine Helicopters
- 135/AOC current and/or type rated in Bell 206B3 and/or 407
- Commercial FAA certificate or ICAO equivalent commercial license with Helicopter class rating
- Current Medical FAA Second class or ICAO equivalent
- Spoken and written English proficiency is required
- Capable of passing an FBI/INTERPOL background check

Work Locations:
- Main office and hangar located in Belize City
- Island office and heliport located in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye
Position available immediately.
Compensation negotiable; dependent on experience.
