Tasks
As a cabin crew member, you represent SWISS. Together with your crew, you spoil our guests around the world with Swiss hospitality. You bear a lot of responsibility, because you are jointly responsible for safety on board.
- You are responsible for the implementation of safety regulations according to international guidelines
- You carry out the various service processes with confidence and always pay attention to our SWISS quality specifications
- You promote the sale of exclusive duty-free items
- On European flights, you make the products from the “SWISS Saveurs” catering offer tasty for our Economy Class passengers
- In the galley, you skillfully conjure up meals for our guests and prepare the service
- You prepare the aircraft cabin before each flight so that the new guests always feel welcome
- Before each flight, you read up thoroughly in order to be optimally prepared for your rotation

To work as a Cabin Crew Member you should meet the following criteria:
- Swiss citizenship or EU passport
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Minimum height: 155 cm
- Completed apprenticeship (EFZ) or higher school leaving certificate
- Very good language skills in German and English; other languages an advantage
- swimming skills
- Responsible personality with a willingness to work irregular hours
- Good health and resilience
- Well-groomed appearance. Tattoos must be covered by uniform items; no visible piercings
- Willingness to be vaccinated with vaccines approved in Switzerland (including COVID-19, yellow fever, etc.)
- Completed basic military training, if required to do so
- It is assumed that a journey to Zurich Airport can be guaranteed within one hour
