Join the Jetstar Domestic Cabin Crew team at a pivotal moment in our company’s history. Whilst the last 24 months have been challenging, the outlook for our domestic flying is strong. Our mission to offer all day, every day low fares so more people can fly to more places, more often, is unchanged.
As a member of our Cabin Crew in Sydney, you will play an essential role in safety and the delivery of our customer experience offering. Your duties will include greeting and assisting customers, conducting safety briefings as well as the sale of food and beverage services. Our Cabin Crew love working as one team and genuinely care about delivering exceptional customer service. Before you fly, you will also receive comprehensive paid training to ensure your confidence in managing emergency situations and understanding aircraft procedures.
About You
Whilst no prior experience in aviation is required, you will bring a genuine passion for customer service and a desire to work as part of a close-knit team in a fun, yet professional work environment. You will bring strength in building rapport quickly and confidence in interacting with a range of different people every day. You will also bring a flexible and agile mindset as the lifestyle of a Cabin Crew team member depends on our schedule and operational requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- More than 1 year experience in a Customer Service role
- Height between 163cm – 186cm or ability to safely reach 212cm
- A valid First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate or willingness to obtain
- A valid Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate or willingness to obtain
- Excellent health and fitness, including the ability to swim and tread water
- Commitment to shift work and working flexible hours
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Right to work in Australia/ New Zealand without restriction or sponsorship
- Vaccination against COVID-19 is required for this position
- Commitment to 5 weeks of intensive paid training, where you will be trained in aircraft safety procedures
Please note, this role is based in Sydney, and you must be willing to live and work from this location. Any relocation or travel will be at your own expense.

- Australian birth certificate OR Australian citizen certificate OR Australian Visa/VEVO + Foreign Passport
- Passport (Australian or foreign) OR Drivers licence (Australian or foreign)
- Medicare card
- Any name change documents - e.g. Marriage certificates etc.
If your documents do not have your current address, you will also need to provide a document no less than 6 months old with your current residential address on it. This could be your proof of enrolment with the AEC, mortgage papers, current lease or tenancy agreement or utility bill.
Please note. If you have lived outside Australia within the last 12 months, a police certificate or equivalent is required from that country of residence. If you have lived in more than one country within the 12-month period, a police certificate is required from each country of residence.
