Position Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitors compliance with the FAA approved company ground and flight training program for self and crew members.
- Accomplish the appropriate FAA oral, written and flight test to qualify him/her for the position of Chief Pilot, Company Instructor and Company Check Airman, if the company and the FAA find the position of Check Airman is necessary.
- Maintain the required certificate and experience as per FAR Part 119.71(e)
- Assure that the required aircraft and equipment are available for training, and monitor all training and testing activities of flight crew members, is accomplished by the training department Is responsible for standardization and periodic standards checks.
- Prepares, maintains and periodically reviews all pilot training and proficiency records.
- Disseminates information to all members pertaining to operations, manuals and training activities.
- Maintains all recordkeeping the FAA and the company requires.
- Assure crew members flight and duty records are entered in the pilots permanent file on the first day of each month for the preceding calendar month.
- Must be highly knowledgeable of the company General Operations Manual, Standard Operating Procedures, FAA regulations, NTSB procedures, Operations specifications, Flight Manuals, etc. and other material pertinent to his/her duties.
- Maintains current Aircraft Checklists.
- Maintain Flight Department Reading File.

- No accidents, incidents, violations or DUI/DWI
- Minimum 1500 hours PIC
- Have at least 3 years experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of FAA Regulations (FAR’s) including flight operations under parts 135 training
- Intermediate or better proficiency with Google Calendar for flight management
- Must be able to complete training program, demonstrating proficiency with job requirements.
- Must complete recurrent training in order to maintain license required for the job.
- Must be able to work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
- Must reside in close proximity (within two hours) of Milledgeville, GA.
- Preferred Education and Experience
- Type Rating in a Hawker 750 preferred
- Preferred Corporate experience in Part 135 or Part 91College degree is preferred
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Airline Transport Pilot License
- Current First Class Medical certificate
- U.S. Passport
- Driver's License
