Mountain Aviation is pleased to provide an opportunity within the company’s East Africa Fixed-Wing Airlift Support Mission. Currently, they are looking for industry experts who have OCONUS experience and are ready to work with a leading aircraft operator in the United States. This is a rotational position, no Relocation Necessary.
45 days on/ 45 days off OCONUS rotation, based on customer needs (longer if needed).

Flight schedule flexibility and night operations will be required.
Crew members required to work and live in austere conditions while on assignment.

Required skills

  • Aircraft model: DHC8-100
  • Type required: No
  • Languages: English
  • FAA ATP;
  • Current ME/IR Land;
  • FAA Class 1 flight crew medical certificate;
  • OR FAA Class 2 flight crew medical certificate;
  • FCC Restricted Radio Permit;
  • 1500 hours of total flying experience;
  • Meet currency requirements in reference to FAR 135.247;
  • 100 flight hours as PIC within the previous 12 months;
  • Ability to obtain and hold a DOD security clearance with Top Secret/SCI eligibility;
  • The employee must have ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and be able to work in a wide variety of adverse weather conditions;
  • The unrestricted right to live and work in the US;
  • A valid US passport allowing unrestricted travel.

Desired skills

  • DHC-8 type rating with time-in-type;
  • Prior NVG and Airdrop Experience;
  • Currently hold an Active US Security clearance at the Secret level;
  • Experience as a Fixed-Wing pilot supporting operations overseas in high-threat environments;
  • College degree (Additional experience may be used in lieu of degree).
