Description
As a commander, you and your crew will lead every flight to success and ensure the high quality of our service.
Tasks
- You will take overall responsibility for a safe and efficient flight operation and act in accordance with Edelweiss procedures and operational philosophy
- You ensure the flight preparation and execution according to the legal regulations
- You lead and promote your crew and ensure a high standard of performance at all times
- They stand for high quality standards for our guests
Requirements
- ATPL license (EASA Part FCL) with A320 type rating (valid at the start of the course) with total flying experience: 5000h, of which 1500h on an A320
- Minimum 1000h Command Experience in Commercial Air Transport (CAT) on Jet Aircraft (MTOW >45T)
- Experience in long-distance operations preferred
In addition:
- Medical Class 1 and vaccination readiness (incl. COVID19)
- Completely documented proof of performance *
- Very good language skills in German (at least level C1) and English (level B2 / ICAO level 4)
- Excellent leadership and team skills, impeccable reputation, integrity, mature and loyal personality
- Swiss citizen or citizen of the EU-27/EFTA states
