Essential Functions:
  • Contribute to a reliable and on-time operation by meeting all report times, departure times, and minimum turn times.
  • Proper planning of each flight utilizing all applicable weather information and reports in accordance with Company policies and procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs)
  • Work schedule: approximately 4-5 day  trips, four times a month, minimum of 75 flight hours a month
  • Acts as Pilot-in-command and exercises sound judgment in all safe and efficient operations of the flight
  • Incorporate relevant information, develop operational strategies and choose the best course of action consistent with safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the aircraft in accordance with FARs, and Company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of the equipment operated, FARs governing the operation of equipment, and manuals, policies, procedures, and other instructions.
  • Communicate information, ideas, and other operational factors affecting the flight in a timely manner to crew and passengers.
General requirements & qualifications:
  • Direct Entry Captains will work in Houston, TX primarily and various locations throughout the US (multiple positions).
  • Must have or be able to obtain FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate; 1500 hours of total flight time
  • 1000 hours of applicable airline experience
  • Current FAA ATP MEL license with instrument rating
  • Instrument current-logged 20 hours of flight time in the past six months
  • Current FAA First Class Medical
  • FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator's Permit
  • Valid Passport
  • Able to travel internationally without restriction, especially in Canada and Mexico.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
