NationalAirlines, based in Orlando, FL, operates a fleet of B747, B757 and A330 aircraft to provide customers with a broad array of domestic and international operations. National Airlines specializes in time sensitive and special handling requirements, utilizing 757-200, 747-400 and A-330 aircraft to accomplish its missions worldwide.
Summary:
National Captains report to the Chief Pilot and are overall responsible for the safe and reliable operation of our B747’s, B757’s and A330 aircrafts. They play a vital component in the safe operation of National aircrafts by complying with all Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR’s) and company policies and procedures. Captains are expected to exercise responsibilities and judgement in a manner that promotes teamwork, professionalism and mentorship.
All Captain applicants must possess the following qualifications:
- Hold a current and unrestricted ATP certificate with an airplane category multi-engine class rating and English proficiency endorsement.
- Hold a current FAA First Class medical Certificate.Hold and FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Hold a valid U.S. passport with no restrictions on international travel.Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Have a minimum of 7000 hours total time.Have a minimum of 500 hours on type / 500 Hours in Airbus family (A320, A330, A340)
- Have a minimum of 1000 hours of pilot-in-command (PIC) time to qualify as per FAR 121.436.
- All National pilots are subject to FAA 121 mandatory retirement regulations).
- Ability to pass a 10-year security background check and a DOT pre-employment test.Note: ATP issued with a CIRC APCH-VMC Only limitation is acceptable.
- Current and Qualified operating in a Part 121, 135 or Part 91 environments. (Preferred)

drugs.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
