Metro Aviation is seeking a Fixed Wing Air Ambulance Pilot (IFR/PIC) (PC-12)inRock Springs, Wyomingat the University of Utah Airmedprogram.

This position is a full-timeopportunity, generally with a 7 on / 7 off work schedule.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES

  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (Type Rating in applicable Metro aircraft preferred)
  • Commercial Certificate and Instrument Rating (For all Turbojet Aircraft ATP is required)
  • FAA 2nd Class Medical (1st Class for Turbojet PIC)

MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Total Flight Time 2,500 hours (3,000 for Turbojets)
  • Total Pilot-In-Command 1,000 hours (1,500 for Turbojets)
  • Time in Type 50 hours (Single-Engine) / 100 hours (Multi-Engine)
  • Cross Country Flight Time 500 hours
  • Night Flight Time 100 hours
  • Instrument Flight Time 75 hours (50 in flight)
  • Turbine Time 500 hours

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Air Medical Operations
  • International Operations
  • High performance, high altitude, and complex endorsements (or equal 121/135 training documentation)
  • Part 121/135 operations

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Most locations require residency within a prescribed distance from the assigned base.
  • Must be willing to work nights and days.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Prolonged periods of standing, sitting, and walking
  • Ability to conduct activities requiring a moderate to a rigorous amount of static pushing, pulling, reaching, and lifting
  • Capable of lifting 75 pounds floor to bench height
  • Ability to hear and respond to routine aircraft noises
  • Maintain a "duty" weight (body weight + uniform/equipment helmet not included) if applicable per program
  • Ability to wear a commercially available respirator mask with proper fit when requested
  • Require close and distant visual capability (Class 2 Aviation Medical)
  • Periodic hands to key ability (typing)
