The Opportunity: Ability to build PIC hours on a Cessna 182 Gain valuable skills for a highly active sector in aviation All positions are seasonal and run from May to October annually Scheduled part-time position Future Opportunities: Developmental program leading to Cessna Caravan position upon reaching 800 TT + 100 jump flights / 1000 TT Possibility to accumulate ‘right seat’ flying experience in Cessna Caravan Description: Perform the duties and responsibilities as Pilot-in-Command on Cessna 182 Provide aviation weather forecasts and reports Adhere to all regulations as per SOPs, CARs, CSPA (Canadian Sport Parachute Association) etc. Ramp duties not limited to refuel and ground handling C182 / 208 Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager and Chief Pilot Job Requirements: Valid Canadian Commercial Pilot License 200+ Hours Total Time Must perform well in Parapilot Course (Ground School, Flight Training and Line Checks) Must have positive attitude, responsible and abilities to adapt to various situations No previous flying of skydivers necessary Work Site Environment: Cookstown Aerodrome, Cookstown, Ontario Airfield in a rural location Public transportation is not available Remuneration: Paid per flight Dependant on experience
