Job Description:
Jackson Jet Center, a Boise based FBO, is seeking a Sovereign Captain, CE-680 Type Rating, minimum 3,000 flight hours preferred. The ideal candidate possesses good analytical and organizational skills, is a motivated, self-starter with the drive necessary to develop at a pace consistent with the Company’s flexible and changing environment. Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with Federal Regulations and company policies and procedures.
  • Act as PIC or SIC on assigned flights.
  • Assists with selection and hiring of new crew members.
  • Comply with schedules and other directives governing the aircraft’s safe and efficient operation.
  • Ensure that flight crew members are properly trained and qualified for necessary operations and that   training records are certified and current.
  • Ensure that maintenance issues and required services are communicated to maintenance personnel.
  • Assist the Director of Ops and Chief Pilot in developing company procedures.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.
  • Reports to the Director of Operations.

Job Requirements:

  • Current FAA pilot’s license
  • At least 3,000 flight hours
  • Class I Medical
  • Mountainous terrain experience preferred
  • CE680 Type Rating in Citation Sovereign preferred
Qualifications
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare and present briefings to company officials and subordinates.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills with an advanced ability to multi-task including flight operations, flight following, contracts, and logistics.
  • Current knowledge of federal and local flight regulations. Must continuously update knowledge as changes are anticipated and/or implemented.
