Calspan, a technology company with a strong heritage in aerospace and transportation research and development, is looking for a Flight Test Instructor Pilot to provide support for USAF TPS curriculum requirements. The Test Pilot will fly the USAF TPS Variable Stability In-Flight Simulator Test Aircraft (VISTA) and standard F-16C/D aircraft and specially modified Calspan Learjet aircraft to provide airborne instruction to TPS students and staff. The Test Pilot will also provide classroom instruction as required.

Required skills

• Languages: English

• FAA CPL;
• Current SE Land;
• Current ME/IR Land;
• 1500 command hours on jet aircraft;
• Must meet eligibility requirements for a Secret Security Clearance.

Desired skills

• Currently qualified or previous experience as an F-16 Instructor Pilot;
• Ten years of progressive experience and responsibility as a test pilot in a flight test organization;
• Experience with project management, flight testing and evaluations of aircraft stability and control, flying/handling qualities, flight control systems or other airborne systems;
• MS in Appropriate Engineering discipline;
• Recognized Test Pilot School graduate.
