Position Summary 

Pilots support AIRtec’s OCONUS flight operations. This position is contingent upon ability to secure required medical and DOD clearance.  Flights will provide 24/7 CASEVACc coverage from selected areas in support of DoD operations and may shift to other locations depending on customer needs. Living accommodations and meals or the requisite per diem will be provided.

Standard rotations are approximately 60 days on followed by 60 days off.  Candidates must pass an initial background check and meet high standards of excellence in safety, piloting, crew resource management and customer relations. Candidates must demonstrate a professional work ethic, strong interpersonal skills and a team player attitude to further the success of this effort.

Essential Functions

•    Operate aircraft in accordance with applicable regulations, service guidance and corporate policies and procedures.

•    Ensure flight operations are performed in a safe and professional manner.

•    Communicate respectfully to other team members and customers.

•    Assist as necessary with required reports, briefs, safety management, aircraft upkeep, fueling and documenting aircraft discrepancies for maintenance review and correction.

•    Assist in additional duties as needed to achieve company goals and customer requirements.

•    Mentor new personnel.

•    Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

•    None.

Skills Required

•    Working knowledge of applicable FAA rules, regulations, standards and FOP’s/GOP’s.

•    Attention to detail and ability to complete required reports on a timely basis.

•    Ability to work in a collegial manner with company employees, vendors, and customers.

•    Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Minimum Qualifications

•    U.S. citizenship.

•    Must possess a current U.S. passport.

•    Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

•    Must possess an FAA Class II Medical.

•    Must possess a Commercial MEL Pilot’s license, ATP preferred.

•    Must possess a type rating in the required aircraft.

•    Pilots must have at least 2000 hours total time and 1500 hours in type or similar type aircraft.

•    Prior experience with Night Vision Goggle qualified.

•    Must possess at minimum SECRET level security clearance and complete pre-deployment training in accordance with U.S. government standards.

•    Ability to successfully pass a drug test.

Preferred Qualifications

•    1000 hours of PIC time.

•    Former Active DoD or U.S. Government contractor experience.

•    Instructor Pilot or Standardization Pilot.

•    Prior OCONUS rotational experience.

Travel 

•    Travel and rotational deployment throughout the United States and locations outside of the United States, including austere locations, is required.

Physical Requirements

•    Ability to work in a variety of physical conditions, including austere conditions.

•    Ability to where respirator or other required safety equipment.

•    Ability to work in confined spaces.

•    Ability to lift 50 lbs.
