Job Description

Skyborne Opportunity

We are looking for skilled and talented Scheduler who will work alongside the Scheduling Team. As the Scheduler you will be responsible compiling and coordinating daily flight schedule for Flight Instructors and working with the Chief Instructor and Head of Operations Support to ensure pilot times and aircraft availability are used to fullest extent. You will coordinate aircraft schedules according to airplane availability, mechanical requirements, weather, and government regulations.

Qualifications

Professional requirements are as follows:

  • Update and distribute stage check wait log.
  • Distribute stage check results from previous workday.
  • Create daily flight schedule for trainees and instructors.
  • Coordinate progress reviews for trainees.
  • Arrange and schedule mid-course flight evaluations for the CFIA trainees with Program Manager.
  • Arrange and schedule CFIA UPRT/Spin lessons coordinating with training provider, ensuring waiver forms have been signed and submitted by trainees before the lesson is scheduled.
  • Create and distribute CFIA UPRT/Spin lesson grading sheets to trainees and training provider.
  • Create new lessons in flightlogger and fix errors by instructors in existing lessons when needed.
  • Schedule mock, non-final and final check.
  • Schedule instructor standardization as needed.
  • Staff academy discovery flights for potential customers.
  • Microsoft Office Suite. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Contingent to employment, all candidates must pass a drug screening and background check, along with TSA badging-if required for your role.

Additional information

Benefits:

  • Full Time, Monday to Friday.
  • Salary: $18.00 hourly. (DOE)
  • Health Insurance. (medical, dental and vision)
  • 401k Investment.
  • PTO - 18 days, plus 5-Sick Days.
  • Holidays - 9 days.
